Do you have a hard time finding your place in the world? Or do you feel like you\u2019re carrying other people\u2019s burdens on your shoulders?   Do you know your role in the family and what it means?<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the perspective of family constellations, <\/span><b>finding one\u2019s rightful place in one\u2019s family of origin<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> find one\u2019s place in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many people are not in their true place. The reason is often that they <\/span><b>subconsciously take someone else\u2019s place in the family system<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For example, a person might take:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">taking on one of their parents' roles (this is called parentification),<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">grandparent's place,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the position of an ancestor omitted from some systems,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or a sibling whom the family doesn\u2019t talk about or whose existence they aren\u2019t aware of.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><b>Every sister and brother has their place<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every sister and brother must be <\/span><b>seen and acknowledged<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">so that everyone can be in their rightful place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This also includes these brothers and sisters:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who were not born (e.g., miscarriage, abortion, lost twin, IVF embryos),<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who were stillborn,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who were the children of one parent from a previous relationship,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who was given to someone to raise,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">both children who have been born and those who have not yet been born.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They all belong to the family system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><b>If this place isn't really yours<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For example, if you\u2019ve been told that you\u2019re the first child in your family, but there was a miscarriage or abortion before you, then from the system\u2019s perspective <\/span><b>you are not actually the first<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In that case, you may have subconsciously taken the place of your unborn sister or brother.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This can be expressed, for example, as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as a strong sense of responsibility or a burden,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the feeling that there's just too much of everything,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the difficulty of following one's calling or the path of one's heart.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In that case, there is <\/span><b>an overlap between you and your missing sister or brother<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which may affect how you feel and how you live your life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><b>Subconscious Dynamics in the Family System<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Taking someone else\u2019s place in the family doesn\u2019t happen consciously. Most of the time, we aren\u2019t even aware of it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the perspective of family constellations, however, <\/span><b>exclude anyone from the family system on a soul level<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014 not even those who were never born.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When someone is overlooked or excluded, the system often finds someone else to represent them. This can mean that a person takes on <\/span><b>feelings, energy, or even a fate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that actually belong to someone else.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A deep subconscious identification can develop between living siblings and those who are not spoken of.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This entanglement can dissolve when they <\/span><b>are noticed, acknowledged, and given a place in the heart<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><b>If we don't know the whole family's story<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Often, we don\u2019t even know if our parents had other children\u2014whether with each other or from previous relationships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sometimes parents don't want to share these stories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The good news is that we don\u2019t necessarily have to be consciously aware of this.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This information is often <\/span><b>already present within us at the systemic level<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and can come to light, for example, during a family constellation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_section_3 et_pb_section et_section_regular et_block_section\"><div class=\"et_pb_row_2 et_pb_row
