La encuesta revel\u00f3 que muchas personas que necesitan apoyo profesional no lo obtienen a tiempo o renuncian a buscar ayuda por diversas razones.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Principales obst\u00e1culos para utilizar los servicios de salud mental<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uno de los mayores retos son las largas listas de espera y la inadecuaci\u00f3n de los servicios. El acceso a los servicios p\u00fablicos es dif\u00edcil: el tiempo de espera para psiquiatras y psic\u00f3logos cl\u00ednicos puede ser de varios meses.  2021. En 2007, el 13% de las personas de Estonia se sintieron necesitadas de un psic\u00f3logo o consejero, pero no consiguieron la ayuda que necesitaban a tiempo. El 8% de los encuestados necesit\u00f3 ver a un psiquiatra, pero esto se vio obstaculizado tanto por los largos tiempos de espera como por la falta de disponibilidad en las zonas rurales. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El elevado coste de los servicios es otro obst\u00e1culo importante. Los servicios privados de salud mental est\u00e1n econ\u00f3micamente fuera del alcance de muchos: el coste de una sola sesi\u00f3n puede ser de 50-100 euros, lo que dificulta el acceso a una terapia regular. Aunque el Fondo del Seguro Sanitario de Estonia (Haigekassa) financia determinados servicios, su disponibilidad es limitada y muchos desconocen sus opciones.  <\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"P\u00e1gina 14\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span>Una proporci\u00f3n significativa de los encuestados \"no cree que nada vaya a ayudar\", \"no sabe d\u00f3nde acudir\" o \"espera que los problemas se solucionen solos\".  <\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><b>Muchas personas tampoco saben d\u00f3nde buscar ayuda.  <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los j\u00f3venes y las personas con menor nivel educativo suelen ser menos conscientes de los sistemas de apoyo a la salud mental y, por tanto, no aprovechan las oportunidades disponibles. La ignorancia, combinada con el estigma social, crea una situaci\u00f3n en la que muchos prefieren no buscar ayuda por miedo a que la sociedad les afecte negativamente. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El estigma social es un problema particular entre los hombres, que tienen la percepci\u00f3n generalizada de que los problemas de salud mental deben tratarse de forma independiente. Acceder a los servicios de salud mental puede percibirse como un signo de debilidad, lo que lleva a muchos a retrasar la b\u00fasqueda de ayuda o a no buscar ayuda especializada en absoluto. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Soluciones y opciones de mejora<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mejorar el acceso a los servicios de salud mental requiere un enfoque m\u00faltiple. Uno de los pasos m\u00e1s importantes es ampliar los servicios p\u00fablicos y aumentar la financiaci\u00f3n. Si el sistema sanitario recibe m\u00e1s recursos, pueden reducirse las listas de espera y prestarse m\u00e1s servicios gratuitos. Los m\u00e9dicos de familia tambi\u00e9n podr\u00edan desempe\u00f1ar un papel m\u00e1s importante en la prestaci\u00f3n de asesoramiento en salud mental a nivel primario para aliviar la sobrecarga de psic\u00f3logos y psiquiatras.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Otra soluci\u00f3n es desarrollar nuevas formas de servicio.  <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El asesoramiento en l\u00ednea y la teleterapia tambi\u00e9n har\u00edan m\u00e1s accesibles los servicios de salud mental en las zonas rurales. Los sistemas de apoyo a la salud mental orientados a los j\u00f3venes, incluido el desarrollo de psic\u00f3logos escolares y l\u00edneas telef\u00f3nicas gratuitas de ayuda psicol\u00f3gica, ayudar\u00edan a identificar y abordar los problemas en una fase temprana, antes de que empeoren. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adem\u00e1s, hay que promover la sensibilizaci\u00f3n y la reducci\u00f3n del estigma. Todo el mundo puede apoyar su propio bienestar mental buscando ayuda pronto, conociendo las opciones disponibles y hablando abiertamente de salud mental para reducir el estigma en la sociedad. Adem\u00e1s, es importante cuidar de tu bienestar mental a diario: el ejercicio, una dieta sana y un sue\u00f1o de calidad son tan importantes para la salud mental como la salud f\u00edsica.
